Moments D212: Flash Mob

Today, no fog. Perhaps there should have been. I hit the ground running hard today with IT issues and fires burning in many directions. But, as the day came to a close, the team pulled together and we worked through it all with a smile.

Today’s smile (though there may be more tonight in the quiet of my eve) was a well needed break in the tension. I finally read an old email from a work colleague sent July 30. (Yes - I’ve been busy and I leave silly emails aside until I have time for them!) This was the gist of the email:

A Flash Mob in Moscow, Russia. Try and not smile as you watch this. Putting on the Ritz…in Moscow, no less less! What a crazy, delightful ever changing world! Who could have thought that in 2012 young people in Moscow would put on a “flash mob” happening, dancing to an 83 year old American song, written by a Russian born American Jew (Irving Berlin)? And yes. I smiled and I enjoyed all five minutes of the video.
