Yesterday and today was the CONTACT Portfolio Review. Tonight was the announcement of the winner of the reviews...and a bunch of us from work went to see the wares.
This lovely co-worker of mine is quiet spoken and customer service centric. But her real passion is photography. She finally found the courage to share her portfolio with experts in the field. Today, seeing her with her work was a moment to remember. She was exhilarated. She was alive and her passion shone through. It was delightful to see beyond the work colleague and to her true self.
It reminds me to embrace my passions. To believe in self. To share my own art with the world.
