You know, those weather experts sure do struggle with predicting the weather. Today’s moment….beating the weather.
Today I had hoped to get in a few games of beach volleyball before the thunder storms rolled in. out started off badly. Very sad actually…nearly left defeated after an hour…but then we had a few new players (better caliber!) show up. It was now worth getting my net and setting it up for better games.
Ah, but the weather was calling for thunder showers….was it worth the effort?
We decided to risk it. BEST DECISION OF THE DAY! We were set up by 1:30pm and played thru to nearly 5pm. It sprinkled a bout around 2:30pm, but then the sun broke through….Whoa ya! Heaven. I’m tired, a weee bit burnt, but so very very happy that we ignored the weatherman!
Moments! Love the ones where you nearly missed out on them!
